5) Telephone / Skype us at the Agreed Time
Our coaching relationship will follow your
preferences. A few sessions may be enough for some short range goals, or you may
want longer support. For telephone/Skype sessions ... you can pay by
PayPal, and we
will expect your telephone or Skype calls at the agreed times. (If you use a Wi-Fi
laptop or mobile phone, please ensure that you have good wireless reception before
you call us.)
Reputation is what people know about you. Honor is
what you know about yourself.
Integrity is living your highest values.
We don't coach problems - we coach people! We
coach people to create and enjoy
health, wealth, happiness and better relationships. We help people explore
and define where they are now, where they want to be and how best to get
from here to there. (We do not coach people
to manipulate others, no matter how nice their
intentions.)
We strive to be prepared, rested and alert when
we meet you or answer your call; and we hope that you do the same. That is
difficult if you are in a crisis, or after taking alcohol or psychoactive drugs.
Be as specific as you can about where you are now, what you want (where, when
and with whom) and how you want to get there. Please do not tell us private
details that you may later regret.
From the start, we focus on "What can be
evidence of your success?". Then we offer
to support your steps to success. The timing is your choice
(providing your requests fits our schedules). We generally recommend a meeting to get started and make a provisional coaching plan.
Then we usually suggest that we meet once or twice each week, personally or
using a
telephone or Skype.
6) Review what you learned
You will gain insights during our meetings that
you can apply in your life. You can also choose if you want
these insights to become part of who you are - so that instead of trying to
do something, that something becomes part of what you do.
For example, you may find that you perceive your partner as a child, your boss as a parent or a colleague
as a sibling. You may find that some old trauma still
influences your everyday behavior.
Instead of complaining, blaming or trying to change other
people, you can change yourself and notice how your changes influence others. If
you choose to value
integrity or
emotional maturity, some people will appear to change ... and
others will change. Lasting happiness is hard to ignore.
7) Follow your Plan
We can help you check the benefits and
consequences of a change - and of not changing - and we can help you prepare for
difficult conversations and transitions. We can help you explore and change your emotional
reality and stabilize your desired changes within your life.
