We offer coaching, training and workshops on emotional blocks,
partnership, resolving relationship chaos and changing limiting beliefs.
You are being Attacked!
Few corporations profit from healthy, happy, mature
people. There's enormous profit to be made from unhealthy, unhappy, immature people.
Unhealthy, unhappy, immature people distract themselves in expensive ways, buy
tons of anti-depressant and anti-anxiety drugs, and seek therapy. If unhappy
people are normal ... happy people become increasingly abnormal.
Whatever your lifestyle, some people, especially those with
religious or philosophical agendas, may feel compelled to attack your decisions,
your beliefs and your lifestyle. Claiming good intentions, they
may try to make you change ... for your benefit of course ... not theirs!
Are you besieged by conflicting, contradictory and
useless relationship advice? Does poor relationship
guidance damage your relationships, your income and your chances of lasting happiness?
In many countries, parental mentorship is being replaced by television, cinema
and ... music. (Listen to the lyrics of your favorite music - many songs
celebrate symbiosis and codependence).
Most advice is actually criticism (and most criticism seems to
be
autobiography.) Good coaching and quality mentorship can change your relationship
habits; with your partner, your family, your colleagues and your community.
We can help you dissolve the consequences of relationship disappointments.
Relationship Stress
How do you decide when to end a relationship? Do you wait for
pain and suffering? Do you want to dissolve old fixations and entanglements? Here are
some signs that may warn of the end of a relationship. If you see a few of them,
consider asking for our couple coaching. These issues apply to gay, lesbian
and bisexual partners as much to straight, heterosexual couples.
- You just don't care anymore.
- Intimacy seems to have died.
- You feel trapped and exhausted.
- Your partner doesn't share time with you.
- Your partner ridicules you to other people.
- Your partner is not interested in your feelings.
- Your partner tells people important news before you.
- You consider calling an ex, or you find yourself flirting.
- You look forward to going to work ... or going anywhere.
- Your partner doesn't consult you before making major
decisions.
Important Questions for Gay / Lesbian Partners
We coach straight couples and
people who choose alternative lifestyles. (Most of their partnership problems and challenges
are actually very similar).

Relationship Coaching Answers
1. Can we help you enjoy better relationships?
Yes. We can focus on your goals and your results, rather than just offering
philosophy or psychobabble about your problems and why you have them. We can
help you evaluate and change your everyday behavior ... apart or together.
Your decisions and subsequent actions will generate your success.
Your results depend on you. We have no secret tricks
that will automatically do the work for you. We cannot solve your
problems for you, nor stop you feeling depressed about depressing
situations. We can help you define your goals and replace
whatever stops you fulfilling them yourself.
The worst blocks are often self-sabotage
and identity loss. We can coach you ...
although your success and happiness will require your motivation and active
participation! We can help you find your own meaning and purpose. We
won't try to give you ours!
2. How can we coach your relationship?
A good relationship coach gets results. You can learn how to change
your relationship habits to build lasting happiness. While some
conditions are different in each relationship, people with mature
relationship skills can improve the quality and quantity of their
gay, lesbian or bisexual relationships.
3. Who coaches you on your relationships?
Many people now offer relationship coaching, marital counseling,
couple therapy etc. Even your hairdresser may give you advice.
Your decision to request our relationship coaching may depend on:
- Your suffering
- Your relationship goals
- Your relationship habits
- Your other current relationships
- Whether you see coaching as stupid,
a luxury or an investment
4. Is one relationship coach as good as another?
Much depends on what you want. The tools and methods used by relationship
coaches vary enormously. Some are extremely religious and some extremely
technical. Maybe check a coach's age, experience and results. Check their
beliefs and biases. Who do you feel that you can you trust? Who is homophobic?
Who will try to steal your partner?
Many young, single people call themselves
"partnership coaches" or "dating experts"
etc, although they have minimal personal experience in committed
partnership, parenthood or dedicated teamwork. After a few shallow
questions they may suggest that you split! That's what they would do!
Find a coach who
walks the talk - many just mumble their stumble!
5. How can good relationship coaching
benefit you?
A good coach can help you recognize the roots of your problems,
clarify your goals, improve your skills, change your beliefs,
dissolve your conflicts, resolve your transferences, dissolve
your entanglements and encourage your decisions.
An experienced coach can also warn you of consequences.
Gay people are often fixated on or entangled with a same-sex parent
... clarifying and resolving entangled parental relationships can
allow people to change their life direction!
6. Is quality relationship coaching a wise investment?
Much relationship coaching appears to lack value. It may be better
than nothing ... maybe. Many coaches are obsessed with techniques
and expect to bend you to fit their ideas. They over-use simple questions
and cannot untangle complex relationship issues. Many coaches are young,
single people who cannot appreciate the challenges of long-term gay
relationships.
You can best benefit best from coaches who
are trained and experienced in coaching many forms of relationships
- including at least couple, parenthood and community coaching.
7. What problems can a relationship coach dissolve?
Besides evaluating your goals and blocks, an effective
relationship coach or mentor can coach responsible, motivated adults
to clarify:
- Relationships with past partners
- Codependence and emotional incest
- Issues about morals, ethics and integrity
- Relationship decisions, fights and conflicts
- Relationship diagnosis: planning and skill deficiencies
- Poor quality advice (from parents, friends,
teachers, etc)
- Family and societal influences (limitations
on happiness)
- Emotional trauma (often a source of anger,
sadness and fear)
- Past and present relationships (confusion of
relationship types)
- Family entanglements, transferences,
projections and guilt issues
We do not (nor want to) coach unmotivated,
immature people who don't know what they want; or who want to manipulate
or control somebody. That's not what we do, although plenty of people
seem to offer this coaching in manipulation, persuasion and control.
Some people seem to enjoy manipulating others, and many immature
adults use abuse and control as normal, everyday communication skills.
Find a coach with experience ...
many just have credentials.
