seeking coaches in areas where we have no graduates. We can refer potential
personal clients to you in return for 50% of your first paid session with each
referred person. No fee for you means no fee for us. We take the risk.
If clients tell us nice things about
your service, we refer more people to you.

Are you a Coach?
Do you coach people to specify and plan their goals?
Do you help people dissolve their blocks to success? Do you help people
who are entangled in difficult relationships or painful emotions? Do
you help people resolve their parents' drama, their partner's demands,

reclaim their freedom?

You are not a Coach if you don't have Clients
No matter how skillful you are and no matter how
much training you have taken, you want clients to begin your coaching,
and you will want new clients to stay in business.
There's a lot of hype about personal and executive
coaching, and a lot of strange people call themselves coaches. Why
should people choose you?
How do you Promote Yourself?
How do you demonstrate your unique ability to facilitate
the changes that potential clients seek? How do you promote yourself?
- Do you hope that friends and family will tell people?
- Do you put ads in the library, supermarket boards and
health food stores
- Do you hope that the internet will save you?
Do you invest in a website?
- Once you have clients, do you hope that they will tell
everybody about you?

Do you have a website? If so, it probably costs you a
lot of time and energy. Through
www.soulwork.net, about 50,000 coaching articles are downloaded
each month. That attracts about 100 emails / month.
If your website has under 1000 downloads / month -
do the math. A website is a useful and perhaps essential tool, but it probably
will not be very effective for finding new clients, unless you specialize
in a category or niche that many people want and cannot find elsewhere.
Do you want More Clients?
Do you have enough clients? Do you get all the client
referrals you want? You probably don't if you’re just getting started or
if you do not promote yourself effectively. We can help you.
We primarily seek organizers for our systemic coach
training. We refer potential clients to our graduates, where possible,
and to other coaches in regions where we have no graduates. And we can

Word of Mouth Promotion
Are clients your main source of new clients? A survey
of our graduates showed that about 80% of them rely on referrals as their
primary source of new clients. Yet only about 10% of their clients
generated referrals, and then usually less than 2 referrals. Word of
mouth promotion can be wonderful - and it is not enough.
And yet if you offer a finder's fee to your clients, they
may be irritated. They may say, "Of course I will tell my friends
about you!" Yet somehow they often seem to forget.
Why Don't Clients Refer People to You?
- They don’t want to refer inappropriate people.
- They don’t like you or your coaching well enough.
- They may assume that you do not need more clients.
- They may not want others to know that they were coached.
Referrals by word of mouth may reflect the success
of your coaching! But you need a LOT of happy clients to get that ball rolling.
